Compensation
- Total Compensation (base commission potential): $70000-$120000
- Increased potential for earnings based on performance including uncapped commission.
We are seeking aContractor Salesrole to join ourCoquitlamteam. You will oversee the sale of products and equipment to contractors assigned to our projects and willbe responsiblefordeveloping andmaintainingcustomercontractorand vendor relationships.
What Youll Be Doing
- Provide input on quotes/bids for projectsregardingequipment design andselection
- Provide detailed evaluations of competitive products to communicate value of ODell product solutions to all stakeholders
- Build andmaintainstrategic relationships with large mechanical and sheet metal contractors supporting bid development and positioning ODell solutions on major project opportunities
- Assistwith troubleshooting on any issues arising with mechanical equipment coordinating with Service Team as
- Assistdesign build contactors with the project design and act as a point of contact for any issues that may arise
- Complete required product training to remain up to date and informed on newest technologies
- Participate in networking and business development opportunities including lunches with clients charity events and society events
- Provide presentations to new and current customers on new products
- Perform ongoing project site visits
- Connect with new and prospective customers to build relationships and provide information about new products and technology
- Other responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education inrelatedfield
- A minimum ofthree to five(35) years of experience in HVAC or construction industry.
- Ability to read construction drawings and performaccuratetake-offs and pricing
- High levelof skill in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook Teams) andproficiencywith CRM software (NetSuite) is an asset
- Expertisein sales techniques combined with strong customer service skills
- ValidClass 5drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Experience with quoting or project management with the ability to manage multiple projects ongoing at once
- Experience with HVAC selection software
- Working knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code (BCBC)and associated ASHRAE Standards
