Operational Excellence Specialist

The opportunity

The Operational Excellence Specialist will drive efficiency consistency and performance across AJWs global aviation operations. This role focuses on improving processes and embedding scalable ways of working that enhance service delivery and cost performance.

Working across supply chain logistics technical and commercial functions the role plays a key part in delivering smarter more efficient operations supporting AJWs mission to transform aviation efficiency.

What youll be doing

• Analyse current processes to identify inefficiencies risks and improvement opportunities

• Design and implement process improvements to enhance performance and consistency

• Use data to track operational performance and measure improvement impact

• Support standardisation of processes across teams and locations

• Work with stakeholders to embed changes and ensure adoption

• Contribute to automation and better use of systems and technology

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations

• Provide clear reporting on performance risks and outcomes

About you

• Experience in operational excellence process improvement or similar roles

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends

• Experience working in aviation supply chain logistics or technical environments

• Ability to map and improve processes (Lean or similar methodologies)

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Experience using data tools (Excel or similar)

• Experience in aviation or MRO environments

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement frameworks

• Exposure to automation or digital transformation initiatives

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Quantum AMOS)
