Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Press Assistant who is also trained in machine operating and forklift. The ideal candidate will be able to cross-train in multiple different locations around the warehouse facility and assist where needed.

Schedule:Monday-Thursday

Shift:2:15pm-12:45am

Pay:$20/hour

Duties

• Read and understand all job specifications and requirements.

• Stage all required materials needed for each job.

• Cut cores.

• Set up packaging materials

• Load and unload slitter.

• Forklift operation.

• Palletize completed orders

• Validate accuracy of all labels and packing lists prior to sign off

• Shrink wrap and deliver finished orders to shipping area.

• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of press area

• Is essential duties are complete work with operators to clean and maintain the warehouse shipping dock and office areas

• Daily general maintenance duties to be completed: Clean all equipment replace using supplies empty trash clean warehouse pick up after yourself in lunchroom and restroom. 2nd shift - plug in all forklifts

Education and Experience

• Some previous work related skills knowledge and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to read instructions incoming and outgoing paperwork

• Ability to actively listen

• Ability to work individually and in a team environemtn

• Good computer skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in screen printing layout design and prepress processes is preferred.

• Familiarity with machining techniques and quality control standards is a plus.

• Strong understanding of typography and print advertising principles.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is essential for design-related tasks.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.

• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills will be highly valued.
