DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n)ManagerTPOPortfolioand ProjectManagement.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics companyoperatingas DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation isanticipatedto be completed within 18 to24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview
The ManagerTPOPortfolioProjectManagement serves as the primary owner ofPortfolio and Project Management technology products supportingR&D and Supply Chainproduct development and project activities. This rolepartners closely with R&D Quality Regulatory Supply Chain and IT stakeholders to ensure technology investments are aligned to business priorities regulatory requirements and product development needs. This position plays a critical role inaccelerating innovationdriving visibility governance and value realization across theorganizationand reports into theDePuySynthes Technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product vision roadmap and backlog for the assigned Portfolio and Project Management technology platforms ensuring cross-functional alignment.
Partner with R&D Supply Chain and other cross-functional teamsto gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Lead prioritization decisions to balance business value compliance and delivery timelines.
Serve as the primary point of accountability for product performance lifecycle management and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with development teams to support agile delivery including sprint planning backlog refinement and release readiness.
Drive continuous improvement of portfolio management processes tools and governance models.
Monitor product outcomes and KPIs to ensure solutions deliver measurable value to the cross-functional teams.
Demonstrate Johnson & Johnsons Credo and leadership behaviors in all interactions.
Lead the application of AI advanced analytics and automation to modernize R&D platforms accelerating product development improving scientific and engineering insights and strengtheningendtoenddecisionmakingwhile enabling scalable compliant and efficient R&D operations from discovery through lifecycle management.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degree(Information Systems Engineering Computer Science or related field).
Masters degree (MBA or relevant technical discipline) preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required:
6-8 years of experience in technology digital product management or clinical systems with experience at the manager or senior individual contributor level.
Proven experience as a product owner or product manager for enterprise technology solutions.
Strong ability to translate business needs into technology requirements.
Demonstrated stakeholder management andcrossfunctionalcollaboration skillsand influence without authority.
Experience working in regulated industries (e.g. medical devices pharmaceuticals life sciences).
Experience working with agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Preferred:
Experience supporting R&DProduct Developmenttechnology platforms within a global organization.
Familiarity with AgileSAFe or hybrid delivery models in an enterprise IT environment.
Experience with portfolioand projectmanagement tools and financial tracking.
Strong analytical andproblemsolvingcapabilities.
Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization.
Other:
Language: Englishproficiency.
Travel: Up to 1015% primarily domestic.
Certifications:Product Owner Agile or Project Management certifications (preferred).

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year
Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
