We are looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team in one of todays most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Senior Manager Facilities & Real Estate and is based in Fremont CA. This is a fully on-site role.

The Facilities Technician must provide exceptional customer service.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Inspects completed work for performance with requirements of local building and safety codes

  • Performs routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on buildings for manufacturing facilities.

  • Must be able to address issues such as leaks electrical outages plumbing or HVAC inefficiencies

  • Will monitor systems such as heating ventilation air conditioning and alarms.

  • Ensures fire safety systems are functional and compliant

  • Keep records of daily inspections and have the ability to understand building maintenance system

  • Paint patch walls and assists with office moves or furniture repairs and flooring maintenance

  • Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers

  • Prioritizes daily activities and work order scheduling.

  • Keeps management informed on progress and delays of all preventive maintenance work orders related jobs and other repair activities to ensure good customer service.

  • Interacts courteously with the staff vendors and public; maintains effective working relationships

  • Creates P.O.s PRs for materials and supplies using established guidelines and procedures as required.

  • Participates in safety training and meetings and uses safe working practices at all times.

  • Responds to emergencies as requests activities and repairs.

  • Inspects completed work for performance with requirements of local building and safety codes.

  • Must have a reliable car and a valid drivers license. Driving between buildings is required.

  • Executes on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years equivalent of proven facilities experience

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Able to work efficiently with cross functional team

  • Ability to multitask and have the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

  • Ability to understand and resolve facilities issues independently

  • Good computer and communication skills (written verbal and active listening)

  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of self-management with little to no oversight

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships

  • Strong requirement to have knowledge of MS Office including Power Point Excel and Word
