We have an opportunity for a Key User - S2P. This position is a limited term 12-month contract.

Job Summary

The Key User - S2P role supports the implementation of the new SAP S/4HANA ERP for the Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes specifically activities linked to Procurement and Purchasing (Direct & Indirect). The Key User is responsible for ensuring the ERP solution meets the business process defined by the BPO (Business Process Owner) and the process Experts (SMEs).

This position reports to the to the Purchasing Manager within the Supply Chain department and in addition will work closely with the BPO (Business Process Owner) of the S2P process.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Work Location: 25 Wolseley Court Cambridge.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The mission of S2P Key User is to represent the end-users on the S2P project scope. The Key User is responsible for assessing and verifying that the ERP solution properly addresses the target business processes defined by BPOs (Business Process Owners) and SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).

The mission of S2P Key User is also to facilitate ERP knowledge acquisition and solution adoption by end-users. S2P key user is active both in the building phases of the solution and for the run phase. This is a long-term role requiring expert on the usage of the system in the business and geographical area the key user is assigned to.

During the project deployment or evolution phases of the ERP the Key User responsibilities are:

Enable business process development and solution design

  • Provides input for the detailed design of the solution thus helping to reduce the time to resolve possible business process issues.
  • Qualify and relay the users needs to maximize satisfaction and improve when needed.
  • Help expressing the change requests (business requirements to adjust the ERP solution).

Ensure implementation and data quality

  • Dive into the system to test it. As such the key user co-builds the use cases with BPOs and SMEs builds the detailed scenarios to be tested identifies the appropriate test data with the BPO / SMEs executes test scripts (including in-process ERP reporting).
  • Give feedback on IT solutions provided (user interface user experience).
  • Support / participate in SOP adjustments updates that may be needed.
  • Participate in IT Validation activities (risk assessment test scripts writing and execution).
  • Participate in the data migration effort (taking part in the data cleansing effort preparing data to be migrated as well as testing the result of the migration operations).

Support end users

  • Creates / writes user manuals & Training Materials.
  • Organize and animate training sessions for the end-users.
  • Participate in change management activities (e.g. support in creation of learning materials that will support the process transformation).
  • Provide Level-1 support to the end-users and input for Level-2 support.
  • Creates tickets for Level- 2 support as needed.

During the run phase of the ERP the Key User:

  • Organize and animate training sessions for the end-users (including new hires).
  • Provide level-1 support to the end-users and input for Level-2 support.
  • Express the change requests (business requirements to adjust the ERP solution) to BPO.
  • Creates tickets for Level-2 support as needed.

Qualifications

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with SAP S/4 Hana is viewed as a strong asset especially the MM module.
  • Previous experience training end-users on a software / ERP.

Competencies

  • Strong and detailed knowledge of purchasing and procurement activities.
  • IT software / systems background / certification.
  • Capacity to understand users perspective goals and challenges.
  • Possess innovation & adaptability skills to reflect / project on end user perspective as well as future solution.
  • Analytical skills (investigation root cause identification)
  • Leadership skills (Follow up organization prioritization)
  • Strong communication skills (coordinate & collaborate with cross functional teams end users)

Starting at approximately $60000.00 CAD with opportunity for increase based on qualifications and experience. Total rewards include comprehensive benefits and continuous learning and development programs available through our online Learning Management System.
