This Data Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and on-the-job training for college students interested in analytics machine learning and data-driven decision making.Interns will work on real-world data projects of varying complexity gaining exposure to data collection cleaning analysis and modeling techniques. This role supports professional data analysis and cross-functional teams enabling interns to build practical skills and apply academic knowledge in a business environment.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Learn organizational data processes systems and governance practices
- Assist in collecting cleaning and preparing structured and unstructured data for analysis
- Contribute to assigned data science or analytics projects including exploratory data analysis and model development
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards reports and data documentation
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Analyze datasets to identify trends patterns and actionable insights
- Communicate findings clearly through visualizations presentations and written summaries
- Work in a team environment communicating effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
- Assemble and deliver information in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 1 year) from an accredited university or college in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Mathematics or a related field
- Basic understanding of data analysis statistics and/or machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R Experience with data tools such as SQL Excel or data visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to understand and follow complex technical instructions
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated curious and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies
- Ability to think critically manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Job Compensation
$18 - $22/hour based on experience
