ABOUT THIS JOB
As an Insurance Product Analyst you will specialize in the design and implementation of wealth protection and wealth transfer strategies for high net-worth clients.

Wealth Strategies Group (WSG)

Goldman Sachs Aycos Wealth Strategies group provides risk management solutions in support of advisors and clients across all segments of Goldmans Wealth Management business. We are on a journey to transform modernize and scale the business which currently generates over $1.4B of Life Annuity and Long-Term care new business premiums on an annual basis. Our planning focused practice currently has 56 team members operating in 7 wealth management offices across the county.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential:
Are you a quick-thinking self-starter with a passion for the financial markets have the desire to work closely with high net worth individuals and the ability to think outside the box Our financial counseling professionals provideproactive financial counseling full-service implementation including tax preparation and investments to address complexities of executives entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals We are seeking professionals with an understanding of the markets who have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail strong communication skills and client service are essential to maintaining and enhancing our business.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Understand various estate trust and retirement planning concepts unique to Aycos high net-worth clients
  • Partner with marketing associates to determine appropriate product selection to meet client objectives
  • Serve as an internal resource to account management teams through enhanced knowledge of the industry and product offerings
  • Develop and maintain customized Excel spreadsheets to illustrate financial concepts
  • Interface with various associates to facilitate task and project completion
  • Utilize internal systems to monitor and record product changes and provide client-facing presentations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Active life and health insurance license preferred
  • Series 6 or 7 registration preferred
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team oriented client-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products: Excel Outlook Word and PowerPoint

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this Albany NY United States-based position is$55000 - $75000 as of fiscal year-end.
