Description of Work

The primary purpose of this position is to perform duties relate to qualification review salary administration Fiori/BEACON support Workday support and HR consultation. This position will work with DOT managers and other DOT HR field representatives in interpreting and applying personnel and departmental policies and is responsible for supporting the NCDOT and NCDMV addition this position will be responsible for providing technical support problem resolution hiring package approval and participate in special HR projects for agencywide implementation.
The selected candidate will be expected to work independently with a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines for processing hiring packages.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC15 $55521 - $96639
Hiring Range: $27.00 - $36.50 per hour
Management prefers applicants with the following:
- Working knowledge of OSHR salary administration policies
- Working knowledge of Fiori/BEACON and Workday for human resource processes
- Experience screening job applications for minimum education and experience requirements
- Experience calculating related experience for qualification purposes
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelors degree typically in Human Resources or related field from an appropriately accredited institution and 2 years of experience required; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
