NORTH STAR PIPELINES INC. is a local underground utility contractor specializing in wet piping installation. Weve been locally owned and operated for over 35 years.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Underground Wet Utility Foreman to lead field crews in the installation of wet utility systems including water sewer and storm drain. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of underground construction safety practices and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of crew
- Read and interpret plans blueprints and specifications
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and within project scope
- Enforce safety standards and company policies on-site
- Coordinate with project managers inspectors and subcontractors
- Operate equipment as needed and assist crew when required
- Monitor materials equipment and labor usage
- Conduct site safety meetings and maintain daily reports
Qualifications:
- Experience in underground wet utilities (water sewer storm drain)
- Proven experience as a foreman or crew lead
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Valid drivers license
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with trenching shoring and pipe installation
- Equipment operation (backhoes excavators loaders etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
