Position Purpose
The Contracts Coordinatorprovides assistancein the development management and compliance of professional services contracts for the Oklahoma Health Care Authority. This roleis responsible forproviding advice on procurement processes coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the effective implementation of contract management procedures. The incumbent will ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards promote stakeholder collaboration and manage contract-related reporting and analysis all while driving alignment with the agencys mission and strategic goals.
PrincipalActivitiesMay Include:
Develop manage and ensure compliance with professional services contracts.
Handleprocurement processes and coordinate with relevant agencies efficiently.
Developcontract documentsmanagethe procurement evaluation andensureeffective implementation.
Managestakeholder relationships and communicate effectively.
Compile analyze and report onassignedcontract activities.
Ensurecompliance with legal standards and ethical conduct in contract management.
Prioritizeand adapt to new responsibilities effectively.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills Abilities and Competency Requirements
The Contracts Coordinator role requires strong knowledge of contract management processes state and federal legislation and agency policies with the ability to analyze report and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. Key skills include strategic leadershipcommunication and the capacity to manage complex administrative tasks whilemaintainingstrong stakeholder relationships. Relevant Korn Ferry competencies for this position would includeEnsures Accountabilityfor driving contract performance excellence andManages Complexityto navigate the multifaceted demands of procurement and compliance activities.

Education and/or Experience:
3years of technical clerical work plus1year of experience involving procurementpurchasing contracting or acquisitionOR
An equivalent combination of education and experience substitution is allowed for the3years of technical clerical experience only
Preference Qualifications Include:
Bachelors degreein Business Accounting PublicAdministrationor a closely related field
Two years of professional experience inprofessional services procurement project management business or technical writing
Certification as a Certified Procurement Officer that is current and in good standing
Experience inSoonerCareprograms
Experience writing and editing legal and/or contractual documents
Experience with procurement of professional services
Information Technology experience
Physical Demands andWork Environment
Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels.In the course ofperforming job duties employeesare required tospeak stand walk and reach with their hands and arms. This position requires extended periods of sitting and daily use of computers and phones. Employees must be willing to complete all job-related travel associated with this position. Being present at the office is an essential function of this position.
