Compliance Specialist, Compliance & Communications
Job Summary
We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join the Compliance & Communications team within Amazons Last Mile Brazil organization. This role supports compliance oversight across our Amazon Partner Logistics programs ensuring that partners operate in accordance with contractual legal and regulatory requirements.
In this role you will assess partner compliance develop scalable audit mechanisms drive a compliance culture across our network and generate actionable insights through structured reporting. This position is based out of an Amazon corporate office and may require periodic travel.

Key job responsibilities
- Conduct partner audits across Amazon Partner Logistic programs to verify compliance with contractual legal and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain audit execution plans tracking compliance scores non-conformities and corrective action plans
- Generate structured compliance reports including audit adherence action plan adherence and operational standards adherence
- Investigate non-compliant partner activity and prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations
- Develop scalable compliance mechanisms: SOPs written guidance training programs and internal review processes
- Deliver audit findings to partners and coordinate with internal teams (Legal Operations Procurement) on corrective actions
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on Last Mile operations
- Identify compliance gaps root causes and practical recommendations to mitigate risks proactively
- Maintain accurate records of audit activities compliance status and follow-up actions
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives that enhance the overall compliance program
A day in the life
Your day starts by reviewing the compliance monitoring queue: checking flagged partner activities pending audit follow-ups and opening corrective action items across Partner Logistics programs.
Later you lead a call with a partner to walk through audit findings discussing non-conformities and aligning on a corrective action plan. You update the audit execution report with scores compliance status and next steps.
Then you collaborate with Legal and Operations to refine a compliance SOP and review the weekly adherence dashboard: tracking audit adherence rates action plan completion and operational standards performance across the network.
Every day brings a mix of investigation stakeholder engagement process building and data-driven reporting.
About the team
The Compliance & Communications team is part of Amazon Logistics Partner Strategy & Experience organization supporting the EDSP (External Delivery Service Provider) AMXL (Amazon Extra Large) and AMPL (Amazon Partner Logistics) programs across Brazil a network of 30 logistics partners and 300 operational nodes. Our mission is to ensure Amazons logistics partners operate in full compliance with contractual legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. We develop scalable audit mechanisms generate actionable compliance insights and drive partner engagement through strategic communications. The team sits within a broader Strategic structure that also covers Pricing Payments & Incentives Network Health & Performance and VAS & DA Experience working cross-functionally to support Amazons Last Mile growth in Brazil.
- Experience in compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Experience working with a cross functional team
- Experience in English-language communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in SQL data manipulation
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniques
- Experience working in risk/fraud analysis or in compliance organizations
- Experience in logistics
- Experience in auditing risk management compliance program management or quality management systems
- Experience creating training programs or compliance communication materials
