NBIS Bridge Inspection Team Leader

Salary is commensurate with experience with a starting annual salary of $100000.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of our bridge inspection team the Bridge Inspection Team Leader will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Performing condition inspections and evaluations of various highway structures such as bridges culverts retaining walls etc.
• Preparing inspection reports following MDOT SHAs requirements and guidelines.
• Performing structural and load rating analysis based on as-built drawings and current conditions.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

To excel in this role candidates must possess:

• Associate or bachelors degree in civil engineering with a focus on structures
• Successful completion of the NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Course (FHWA-NHI-130055)
• Experience writing inspection reports
• Proficiency in bridge inspection software and tools
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
