Jefferson Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Center for Cardiac Anesthesia at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH) a nationally recognized academic medical center located in Center City Philadelphia.

This position offers the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity collaborative cardiac anesthesia service supporting a broad range of advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures within a care-team model.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG valve repair/replacement aortic surgery structural heart cases and advanced heart failure therapies
• Practice in collaboration with cardiac anesthesiologists in an academic team-based environment
• Deliver high-quality patient-centered anesthesia care in a fast-paced tertiary/quaternary care setting
• The department is exploring a MondayFriday schedule starting with 3/13s while remaining open to other scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
• Eligible for or currently licensed as a CRNA in the state of Pennsylvania
• Cardiac anesthesia experience preferred; motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiac anesthesia will be considered
• Excellent clinical judgment communication skills and commitment to teamwork and patient safety
