Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1
You will help the team build and test small mechanical and electromechanical components delivering precise assemblies that support manufacturing operations. You will work onsite on the 1st shift (MF 5:00am1:30pm) reporting to production leads and collaborating with quality and process teams to meet schedule and safety expectations.
Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components following the organizations instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler route cards or simple schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operations
- Position very small parts (ceramic board crystals fine pins solder particles etc.) under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
- Adjust bend align and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
- Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies using direct heating elements or ovens and perform in-process testing
- Demonstrate and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain regular consistent and punctual attendance; be available for occasional nights weekends variable schedules or additional hours as necessary
- Complete other assigned production responsibilities as needed
Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 12 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and interpret uncomplicated schematic drawings
- Basic computer skills and basic reading ability
- Clean record required for ATF-related clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Vocational training apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a related field
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
- Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery
- Basic math skills and ability to follow safety rules operating/manufacturing instructions policies and procedures
- Effective oral written and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range
