A well-established healthcare facility is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety maintain imaging standards and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures following established clinical protocols
Utilize appropriate technical parameters (kV mA) to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Conduct daily quality control (QC) and calibration checks on CT equipment
Administer contrast agents as per physician orders and departmental guidelines
Maintain accurate documentation including logs reports and patient records
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
Manage and retrieve imaging data for radiologist interpretation
Verify and handle radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols
Monitor patient condition and provide care before during and after procedures
Collaborate effectively with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams
Core Skills:
Strong expertise in CT imaging and diagnostic quality assurance
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA compliance
Excellent patient care and clinical judgment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education & Requirements:
Valid New York State (NYS DOH) Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Minimum 1 year of CT imaging experience
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
