Position Overview
A reputable healthcare facility is seeking a dependable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) setting. This role involves providing direct patient care medication administration and supporting residents with chronic and long-term health conditions during night shifts.
Responsibilities
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the supervising RN or physician
Provide comprehensive care to residents including geriatric and pulmonary patients
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene mobility and feeding
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Follow infection control guidelines and facility safety protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
Respond promptly to patient needs and ensure safety during night shifts
Required Qualifications
Active LPN License (Nebraska or Compact State License)
Experience in long-term care (LTC) preferred
Ability to work night shifts consistently
Strong clinical and patient care skills
BLS Certification required or preferred per facility guidelines
