Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business toestablisha standalone orthopedics companyoperatingas DePuy Synthes. Job Overview
The Sr. Manager Process Engineering provides strategic and technical leadership for manufacturing and process engineering activities supporting DePuy Synthes operations. This roleis responsible fordevelopingoptimizing and sustaining robust manufacturing processes that ensure quality efficiency and scalability. The position plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement enabling new product introductions and supporting business growth within a regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of process engineers responsible for manufacturing process design optimization and sustainment.
Establish and execute process engineering strategies aligned with business quality and operationalobjectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety quality cost delivery and productivity.
Partner crossfunctionally with Manufacturing Quality Supply Chain R&D and Operations to support production performance and new product introductions.
Provide technical oversight for process validations equipment qualifications and change management activities.
Ensure manufacturing processescomply withapplicable regulatory quality system and company requirements.
Analyze process performance data toidentifyrisks trends and improvement opportunities.
Support capital projects automation initiatives and technology upgrades to improve operational capability.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors degreerequiredin Engineering (Mechanical Manufacturing Industrial Chemical or related discipline)
Masters degree preferred
Experience and Skills
Required:
Minimum of 8years of progressive experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering
Prior people leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes process validation and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
Proven ability to lead crossfunctional initiatives and influence stakeholders
Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
Effective communication skills with the ability to engage technical and nontechnical audiences
Preferred:
Experience in medical devices healthcare or life sciences manufacturing
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other structured improvement methodologies
Experience supporting new product introductions and scaleup activities
Knowledge of automation equipment integration and advanced manufacturing technologies
Experience leading capital projects or largescale process improvements

Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent preferred

$122000.00 - $212750.00Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation 120 hours per calendar year
