CICD DevOps Engineer

Job Summary
SWIFT VA is seeking a skilled CI/CD DevOps Engineer to design implement and maintain robust continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. You will play a crucial role in automating our software development lifecycle ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes.

Job Responsibilities
* Design develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD CloudBees and other relevant tools.
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Red Hat Ansible.
* Manage and optimize deployments across various environments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
* Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools primarily using Python.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements.
* Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
* Ensure adherence to best practices for security scalability and maintainability within the CI/CD ecosystem.
* Document CI/CD processes configurations and best practices.

Job Qualifications
* Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on CI/CD.
* Expertise in GitLab CI/CD for pipeline creation and management.
* Hands-on experience with CloudBees platform.
* Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
* Strong experience with Red Hat Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.
* Solid understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting.
* Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) is desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virginia is $66960.00 USD Annual to $124354.00 Annual USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location.
