Job Summary
As Vice President in Global Banking P&A you will be instrumental in elevating client profitability data accuracy/ integrity. You will deliver actionable insights oversee month-end close and drive collaboration across global teamsupholding rigorous standards of accuracy and data integrity while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the month-end close process for client profitability
- Ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance in financial reconciliations and reporting
- Prepare review and present monthly financial results and variance analysis
- Present key performance indicators and profitability trends to senior management
- Develop and deliver analytics to support business decisions
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy
- Demonstrate robust risk management and adherence to policies
- Foster a culture of accountability across the team
- Serve as a key point of contact for business partners and senior leadership
Champion collaboration and teamwork across global teams
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- 10 years of experience in financial analysis reporting or business finance
- Advanced understanding of month-end close processes financial controls and profitability analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and financial systems
- Technical skills in Python SQL Databricks and Alteryx
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Proven record of process improvements
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- MBA or CPA
- Experience in a large financial institution
- Proven track record of process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
