DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Account Manager III and play a key role in advancing our mission to make the world healthier cleaner and this role you will drive revenue growth and build strategic long-term relationships with academic and healthcare customers by representing our comprehensive portfolio of life science products services and solutions.
Territory: Western NY State including Rochester Buffalo and Ithaca
As a trusted advisor you will leverage your scientific expertise and consultative sales approach to support customer research across areas such as cell biology protein biology and molecular biology. Working in a highly collaborative matrixed environment you will partner with technical specialists product managers and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that help customers achieve their scientific and business goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree plus 3 years of sales or lab experience. Preferably sales experience in laboratory scientific or healthcare industries
Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences Chemistry Biology or related scientific field
Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows
Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
Team player
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite
Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
Valid drivers license and ability to travel up to 50-75% within assigned territory. Minimal overnight requirement site dependent.
Fluency in English required

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $65000.00$100000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
