Senior Data Platform Engineer (Power BI / Fabric) Part-Time Contract

Workload: 1 day per week
We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design implement and manage a secure scalable and cost-efficient Power BI (Fabric) environment within an enterprise setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the Power BI / Fabric platform including tenant and admin configuration
- Set up and maintain DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines dev/test/prod environments monitoring alerting)
- Implement security and access controls aligned with enterprise ICT policies
- Automate platform operations to reduce manual effort and operational risk
- Ensure the platform is production-ready stable and scalable
- Guarantee security access control and compliance (IAM networking secrets GDPR-by-design)
- Monitor platform performance reliability and cost efficiency
- Support DevOps DataOps and MLOps practices across analytics and AI workloads
Required Experience
- Proven experience implementing and operating Power BI (Fabric) environments
- Strong background in CI/CD setup and platform automation
- Experience working within enterprise ICT standards and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR IAM security policies)
Key Skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Bicep ARM)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps GitHub Actions)
- Experience with monitoring alerting logging and cost management at platform level
- Solid understanding of IAM secrets management private endpoints and network segmentation
