Junior Data Governance Architect (Part-Time Contract)

Workload: 1 day per week

We are looking for a Junior Data Governance Architect to support the translation of data governance strategy into a structured and operational framework within an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate governance framework workshops with business and IT stakeholders
• Support the design of the data governance operating model (roles processes cadence escalation paths KPIs)
• Develop and document governance policies and assist in stakeholder alignment and sign-off
• Contribute to building a practical Data Governance Playbook
• Assist in data catalog tool selection (requirements gathering evaluation demos and recommendations)
• Support the implementation of the selected catalog solution in line with governance design

Required Experience

• Initial experience in data governance or data management initiatives
• Exposure to data catalog platforms such as Purview DataHub OvalEdge Collibra Alation or Atlan
• Experience contributing to governance frameworks policies or playbooks in an enterprise setting

Key Skills

• Solid understanding of data governance frameworks and principles
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to contribute to structured deliverables (frameworks playbooks RACI matrices policies)
• Understanding of data quality principles and governance operating models
