Junior Business Analyst Revenue Cycle

Location: Mount Desert Cork (with flexibility to work across all hospital sites as required)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role plays a key part in supporting revenue integrity across the organisation by ensuring accurate billing maintaining system data and assisting with reporting and process improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12 years experience to further develop their skills in healthcare systems financial processes and business analysis within a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and optimisation of billing systems to ensure accurate and consistent invoicing across all sites
• Assist in updating pricing structures insurance plans and billing configurations as required
• Help maintain master data for services including procedures diagnostics and accommodation
• Work with internal teams to ensure accurate charge capture and support audit processes
• Assist in resolving system-related queries and helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to validate data and support reporting needs
• Provide support for system updates process improvements and ongoing projects
• Contribute to improving workflows and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency
• Support training and documentation for end users of Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
• Work closely with the Revenue Cycle team to enhance claim submission accuracy and timeliness
• Develop a working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
• Support users with system queries and basic troubleshooting
• Assist in documenting processes and creating user guides
• Collaborate with IT and Business Analyst teams on system improvements

Eligibility Critera:

Essential:

• Degree in Business Finance IT or a related field
• 12 years experience in a business financial or analytical role
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Desirable:

• Exposure to financial or business analysis environments
• Experience with data systems or reporting tools
• Expereince in healthcare systems or informatics
