Job Title: Seasonal Turn Assistant
Reports to: Property Manager
Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary (maximum 120 days)
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 40-hour work week M-F with the ability to work up to 50-60 hours per week and on the weekends as required/needed but not guaranteed OR as outlined by the Property Manager.
Position Overview:
Hyperion Residential Group is seeking a friendly dependable and motivated Seasonal Turnover Assistant to support the leasing resident services and maintenance teams at a multifamily or student housing community. This role is ideal for students or individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in property management customer service and operations while working flexible hours.
As Seasonal Turnover Assistant you will serve as an ambassador for the community providing exceptional service to both current and prospective addition to leasing and resident support we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to assist Westvue with unit turnovers during our move-out and move-in process. Your responsibilities will include supporting the timely and efficient preparation of units for incoming residents helping ensure a smooth transition between occupancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Walking and inspecting units for readiness
- Removing trash and abandoned belongings from vacated units
- Performing light painting and touch-ups
- Cleaning and preparing units for move-in
- Moving and arranging furniture as needed
- Carpet cleaning and general upkeep
- Assisting residents during move-in
- Supporting miscellaneous office-related tasks
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive outgoing and customer-service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must be reliable punctual and highly organized
- High school diploma or equivalent required; current enrollment in a college/university preferred (especially for student housing environments)
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic knowledge of maintenance repair and general building systems (e.g. plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry painting)
- Ability to safely use hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to travel locally to pick up supplies or transport items as needed
- Previous experience in maintenance or facilities preferred but not required
