Job Summary
Job Title: QC Trainee

Role Objective
To support the Quality Control department in maintaining product quality standards through testing of raw materials in-process materials and finished goods. The role involves assisting in laboratory operations documentation quality checks and ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Testing & Inspection
- Assist in testing raw materials dry mix products and finished goods as per defined quality standards.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests such as density viscosity setting time compressive strength moisture and other relevant parameters.
- Monitor batch samples and maintain retention samples for reference.
- Report any deviations or non-conformance to the senior QC team.
Documentation & Records
- Maintain accurate test reports inspection records and quality documentation.
- Support preparation and updating of daily QC logs and reports.
- Ensure proper filing of quality records as per company standards.
Lab Equipment & Maintenance
- Support calibration and routine maintenance of lab instruments and testing equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness discipline and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Follow safe handling practices for chemicals and materials.
Process Improvement & Trials
- Assist in plant trials product development trials and new product testing.
- Coordinate with production and R&D teams during testing activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to ISO safety and internal quality procedures.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) during all testing activities.
Qualification & Experience
Education:
- / in Chemistry
- Diploma / in Chemical Engineering (Preferred)
Experience:
- Fresher or 01 year of experience in Quality Control
- Experience in Construction Chemicals / Paint / Dry Mix industry will be an added advantage

- Familiarity with MS Excel / basic computer skills preferred
