Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our team in a dynamic outpatient setting. This position involves performing a variety of radiographic procedures including fluoroscopy for modified barium swallows and urodynamics working with advanced imaging equipment to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic procedures including X-rays and fluoroscopy.
Work collaboratively with another technologist to manage a caseload of 30-75 patients daily.
Operate various imaging equipment such as Konica U-arm Phillips EOS OEC Dornier and Zheim.
Conduct specialized procedures like modified barium swallows and urodynamics.
Ensure accurate patient positioning radiation safety and high-quality images.
Assist with patient preparation and provide excellent patient care throughout procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using the Cerner charting system.
Ensure a clean organized and safe working environment.
Orientation: 12 hours of non-billable orientation.
Caseload: 30-75 patients daily (working with another technologist).
Scrub Color: Royal Blue.
Qualifications:
BLS certification required.
ARRT certification required.
Indiana State License (or licensure pending) required.
Experience with fluoroscopy and other specialized imaging techniques is a plus.
No block scheduling flexibility in shift assignments is required.
