NUCLEAR QC RECEIPT INSPECTOR Oak Ridge TN
US Citizenship Required

JOB SUMMARY:
In this role you will conduct receipt inspections of incoming equipment and parts to verify compliance with nuclear safety quality and regulatory requirements.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform detailed receipt inspections on incoming equipment and parts.
Accurately document inspection findings.
Perform initial Inspection of items prior to project release.
Support a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement.
Maintain inspection records and assist with corrective actions as needed.

Drop shipments
Surveillance activities
Sourcing plan reviews
TWPC Site (TRU Waste Processing Center)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Associate or bachelors degree and 3-4 years of practical experience.

Experience:
Requires extensive knowledge of regulatory and quality standards.
Comprehensive knowledge of ASME NQA-1 (Nuclear Quality Assurance) requirements
QA/QC experience with nuclear projects
