A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Antepartum Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for high-risk obstetric patients. This role involves managing complex maternal conditions monitoring fetal well-being and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with high-risk pregnancies
Monitor and manage conditions such as preterm labor PPROM and pre-eclampsia
Administer and monitor critical medications and drips including Magnesium Sulfate Insulin and Heparin
Perform advanced fetal monitoring to assess maternal and fetal status
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Respond to scheduled on-call requirements (one 12-hour call shift per schedule)
Float to other units or affiliated facilities as needed
Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Antepartum nursing experience
Prior travel experience strongly preferred
Experience with EMR systems such as Epic and Perigen
Ability to work in a high-acuity fast-paced environment
Flexibility to float between units/facilities as required
No block scheduling allowed
Travelers must reside 50 miles from assigned facility
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Certifications & Licensure:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
All certifications must be active and current
Additional Information:
Call Requirement: One 12-hour call shift per schedule
Scrub Color: Royal Blue (printed tops allowed)
