Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee Hotel Co 51. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

The Senior Sales Executive is a super confident individual that is part of the Regional Sales team and is a buzzy point of contact between customers and hotels.
Youll be based in Glasgow and support two Moxy hotels and the Courtyard SEC with travel to client sites or events as needed.
You will help to drive revenue by generating new corporate group and local business whilst proactively sourcing and supporting meetings and events enquiries. You will build and manage key client relationships conduct sales calls and site inspections represent the brands within the local market and work closely with the wider commercial revenue and operations teams to convert opportunities across all three properties.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Proactive Sales & Business Development
Proactively drive revenue across three Glasgow city properties by identifying developing and converting new corporate group and local business opportunities.
Actively generate enquiries to support the Meetings & Events Sales Executive ensuring a strong and consistent pipeline of opportunities.
Conduct outbound sales activity including prospecting client appointments networking and local market visits.
Build develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients event planners and local businesses across Glasgow and the wider market.
Host site inspections for corporate and meetings & events enquiries tailoring each visit to client needs.
Represent Courtyard and Moxy brands at trade shows industry events and client functions promoting brand positioning and value propositions.
Collaborate closely with the Regional Commercial Team to deliver annual sales strategies and revenue goals.
Account Management & Conversion
Manage and grow a portfolio of local and event accounts across all three properties focusing on retention production growth and account optimisation.
Handle enquiries from initial lead to conversion including preparation of proposals and contracts.
Ensure all sales activity account details and tracking are accurately maintained in SFA Web and relevant systems.
Meetings & Events Support
Act as a key support for the Meetings & Events Sales Executive by proactively sourcing new M&E enquiries.
Maintain strong product knowledge of all meeting spaces layouts capacities and packages.
Support group and event need periods through targeted sales campaigns and proactive outreach.
Attend internal meetings to align sales strategy availability and pricing for meetings and events business.
Sales Planning Strategy & Execution
Contribute to market intelligence competitor analysis and sales reporting to identify growth opportunities.
Work with the commercial team to develop creative promotions partnerships and activations that drive demand.
Support brand-led marketing initiatives that increase awareness engagement and bookings across all segments.
Take ownership of assigned segments delivering measurable sales activity and results.
Collaboration & Cross-Property Working
Act as the on-property sales champion providing in-depth product knowledge and commercial support to operational teams.
Build strong internal relationships across Front Office Operations Revenue and Meetings & Events to ensure a seamless guest journey.
Collaborate with sister properties and the wider Hotel Co 51 network to maximize cross-selling and shared opportunities.
Share best practices market feedback and success stories with the wider commercial team.
Experience in hotel sales with the confidence and ambition to operate at a Senior Sales Executive level.
A strong proactive sales mindset with a passion for generating new business rather than waiting for enquiries.
Experience supporting or selling meetings and events business is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities across multiple properties.
Comfortable working with sales systems and data; experience with Opera SFA Web or CRM tools is advantageous.
Confident conducting sales calls site inspections and client meetings independently.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Positive energetic and resilient with the ability to represent both the Courtyard professional brand and the Moxy fun bold and social brand.
A team player who thrives in a fast-paced results-driven environment.
