SKylight a Charitable Community Benefit Society and part of Stockport Homes Group (SHG) is looking for up to TWO Board Members to join its Board and help steer the growth of this innovative and forward-thinking organisation supporting people in Stockport.
SKylight delivers a range of services in the community including Your Local Pantry the Furniture Recycling Project Employment Support and projects which tackle homelessness and rough sleeping. We are committed to sustainable income growth deepening of our partnerships and maximising our impact and we need skilled and committed Board Members to help us.
If you have experience in the VCFSE sector including as a Board member or you have skills or experience in finance delivery of support services; or youre a customer or service user we would love to hear from you.
As an organisation we are committed to ensuring our organisation and our Board reflect the customers and communities we serve and would particularly welcome applications from under represented communities including ethnically diverse LGBTQ and disabled candidates.
You will be required to attend and participate in Board meetings at least four times a year and join us for up to three away day sessions.
Roles receive a modest remuneration and reasonable expenses are covered. We also provide a broad range of training and development opportunities within SKylight and SHG tailored to meet your needs as well as a monitoring scheme with experienced Board Members and Directors.

Viaduct Housing Partnership - Formed in 2017 Viaduct is a development partnership between Stockport Homes Group and Stockport Council focusing on building more affordable homes in Stockport.
