.Net Web Applications Programmer

Tallahassee FL 32399 (100% Onsite Only candidates located in Florida will be considered)

12 months Contract

The client is seeking Web Applications Programmer. The position is 100% onsite. The scope of work is for Web Applications Programmer services for the development of new and conversion of existing radiation-related data systems and applications for the Client.

Application Development Related Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience with Application and Business Requirements Analysis.
  • At least 4 years of experience with C#.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Visual .
  • At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • At least 4 years of experience Web Application Development in MVC using C# and Javascript.
  • At least 3 years of experience applying LINQ and Entity Framework for data modeling query optimization and business logic implementation within enterprise application development.
  • At least 10 months experience modernizing legacy Visual FoxPro applications including analyzing existing VFP code extracting business logic redesigning workflows and rebuilding modules using and SQL Server technologies.
  • At least 10 months experience building applications using WPF with MVVM architecture including creating XAML-based UI layouts implementing view models in C# and integrating databinding commands and application services.

SQL Related Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database.
  • At least 4 years of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures functions triggers DTS packages and scheduled jobs.
  • At least 4 years of experience with data design/modeling and performance tuning.
  • At least 4 years of experience with SQL relational databases.

Quality Assurance Related Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience writing test cases / scripts.
  • At least 4 years of experience with determining and documenting user requirements.

Miscellaneous Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience utilizing TEAMS and/or webinar tools.
  • At least 4 years of experience with designing coding testing & maintaining government software.
  • At least 10 months of experience with analyzing and mapping business processes used for the licensure registration and regulation of sources of radiation.
  • At least 10 months of experience with designing and coding of applications used for the licensure registration and regulation of sources of radiation.
  • At least 10 months of experience with Laserfiche document imaging systems and workflows.
  • At least 10 months of experience with analyzing and converting legacy data systems into client server applications using C# and SQL.

Education: Masters degree in computer science.

Responsibilities:

  • SERVICE TASKS:
    • Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
  • DESIGN:
    • Meet with stakeholders to analyze and map business processes and document findings weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Meet with the Department project team and other Department staff to manage assigned tasks and deliverables weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Perform research to determine recommended plan for correcting issues or implementing proposed modifications and document findings weekly or as directed by the Department.
  • DEVELOPMENT:
    • Write code stored procedures and SQL queries to perform system functions weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Write user help documentation weekly or as directed by the Department.
  • INTEGRATION AND TESTING:
    • Develop a test plan for each assignment to meet user-defined requirements upon completion of all work weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Perform testing on system changes by executing test scenarios and documenting the test results defects and resolution of defects weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) with the Department business program staff prior to a promotion of code to the Production environment weekly or as directed by the Department.
  • INSTALLATION AND DEVELOPMENT:
    • Promote code modifications from the developers Local Environment into the Development Environment weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Promote code modifications from the Development Environment into the Test Environment weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Promote code modifications from the Test Environment into the Production Environment weekly or as directed by the Department.
  • MAINTENANCE:
    • Provide technical support for users experiencing technical difficulties by troubleshooting issues performing research making recommendations and implementing the necessary fixes to resolve the issue weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Perform regular maintenance tasks and complete duties weekly or as directed by the Department
  • REPORTING:
    • Provide analytical research and complete tasks weekly or as directed by the Department.
    • Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with Department project teams and internal stakeholders regarding project activities deliverables and status weekly or as directed by the Department.
