Job Summary
Position SummaryThe School Bus Driver for Benton-Carroll-Salem Local Schools is responsible for providing safe reliable and efficient transportation for students to and from school extracurricular events and field trips. This position ensures compliance with Ohio Department of Education and district safety standards while fostering a positive and respectful environment for all Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a school bus in accordance with Ohio laws ODE/ODPS regulations and district students along assigned routes and to district-approved required pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify the safe operating condition of the student discipline and enforce bus safety rules to ensure a secure courteously and effectively with students parents staff and report accidents incidents or unsafe conditions to the Transportation accurate and timely records (e.g. inspection logs route sheets incident reports).Attend and participate in all mandatory safety meetings and training assistance to students with special needs during boarding and exiting when required.
