Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Pediatrics / Pediatric ED

Location: Syracuse New York
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract with high possibility of extension)
Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift Options:

• Day Shift: 3x12 Hours (11:00 AM 11:00 PM)
• Night Shift: 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid break
• Every other weekend and some holidays required

Pay Package:

• Local Pay: $1620 per week
• Travel Pay: $2026 per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced LPN with Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ED) experience to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will support the healthcare team in delivering safe and effective care to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in an emergency setting
• Assist in patient assessments monitoring and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by physicians
• Support RNs and physicians during procedures and emergencies
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and families

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ED (Emergency Department) experience
• Active New York State LPN License
• BLS Certification required
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
