Job Summary:
The Body Shop Estimator position at our Collison Body Shop writes detailed estimates handles insurance claims and communicating to clients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Examines damaged vehicles to determine extent of structural body mechanical or interior damage
- Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace damaged items
- Help Manage incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Handle customer complaints provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of luxury vehicles directly with clients and vendors
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Prior Estimating experience is required
- Insurance Claims handling experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and clean record keeping
- High school degree
