Were looking for a Project Engineer to join our Projects team in this role youll work closely with the Project Manager and Department Managers to deliver infrastructure projects while taking accountability for key engineering activities on site and driving work forward safely efficiently and to specification.

This is an opportunity to play an active role in delivering highquality infrastructure that our communities rely on contributing on site solving problems as they arise and helping deliver good work the right way.

As a Project Engineer youll play a handson role in the delivery of infrastructure projects supporting Managers while taking ownership of daytoday engineering activities. This is a sitebased role with time split between working on site coordinating teams and managing project documentation.

Youll be close to the action making sound engineering decisions identifying risks early and working collaboratively to keep programmes costs and quality on track. Youll lead by example on site and contribute directly to outcomes that deliver reliable highquality infrastructure for our communities.

• Lead onsite engineering activities to deliver projects safely efficiently and to specification
• Support the Project Manager with daytoday project delivery planning and proactive problemsolving
• Coordinate site teams subcontractors and resources to keep work progressing as planned
• Prepare and manage project documentation programmes and cost estimates in accordance with contract requirements and Fulton Hogan systems
• Champion safety quality and environmental practices leading by example on site

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering ideally a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or similar
• Proven experience as an Engineer within infrastructure or contracting environments
• Strong working knowledge of project delivery and project management principles
• Experience supporting or leading daytoday site operations including documentation programming and cost control
• A safetyfirst mindset with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and good engineering practice
• The ability to lead motivate and work collaboratively with site teams and contractors
• A full Class 1 drivers licence

This role would suit an early to midcareer Engineer looking to build strong sitebased experience while working alongside an experienced local leadership team.
