Registered Nurse Program Coordinator Oncology RN

The primary focus of the RN Program Coordinator is to coordinate a high quality safe effective and efficient program across all assigned areas and in conjunction with other efforts across the institution. The RN Program Coordinator partners with physicians nurses administrators and other support staff to operationalize the program. The RN Program Coordinator provides consultation to various stakeholders and contributes to the establishment of policies practices protocols and procedures in the Department in alignment with institutional practice at Mayo Clinic. Key components of the RN Program Coordinator role are to serve as a resource consultant and project manager for program-related conjunction with the members of the healthcare team and other stakeholders the coordinator is responsible for program planning implementing and addition this role will assist with required education and training and providing meaningful information for Departmental leadership for decision making. The RN Program Coordinator develops and maintains effective relationships with a variety of individuals throughout the institution and may have regular contact with persons outside Mayo Clinic as job duties require.

This role is eligible for TN sponsorship.

Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program.

• Masters degree in Nursing or related healthcare field preferred.
• Recent RN program-related experience.
• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in data analytics or 3 years of leadership experience.
• Proficiency in data analytics.
• Proficiency in data dashboard development.
• At least 1 year experience in healthcare quality.
• Expertise in quality metric and improvement management.
• Experience in informatics.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong decision making and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience with research processes.
• Ability to utilize software in developing data collection systems processing and analysis of data.
• Certification in program specialty area if applicable.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
