One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring an HVAC Install Helper / Install Apprentice in Kill Devil Hills NC. Were looking for reliable motivated individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and grow with a trusted HVAC company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the HVAC trade while gaining hands-on experience working alongside experienced installers in the Outer Banks.
- Assist lead installers with HVAC system installations (such as air conditioners heat pumps furnaces ductwork etc.)
- Load unload and organize tools materials and equipment
- Assist with ductwork basic wiring and mechanical setup under supervision
- Maintain clean safe and organized job sites
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
- Communicate respectfully with homeowners and team members
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Interest in pursuing a long-term HVAC career
- Ability to work outdoors and in attics/crawlspaces
- Physically able to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials
- Dependable punctual and team-oriented
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Any experience in construction HVAC electrical plumbing or mechanical work
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
