About the Role
The University of Wollongong (UOW) is seeking an Exams Operations Officer to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of final examinations by providing high-quality administrative and operational support to students and stakeholders. The position is responsible for administering exam procedures coordinating and facilitating exam sessions improving and streamlining processes and addressing issues in a timely manner. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of relevant policies along with the ability to build effective relationships and engage confidently with stakeholders in person when needed.
Reporting to the Manager Examinations youll ensure exams are delivered on time within policy and with a strong focus on student experience and operational excellence.
What Youll Do
Coordinate in-person and online final exams across multiple venues.
Liaise with faculties students and stakeholders to resolve complex exam issues.
Assist with implementing reasonable adjustments for students with approved Access Plans including scheduling and logistics.
Maintain and improve exam procedures and documentation.
Support exam systems and contribute to process improvements.
Occasionally supervise casual staff during peak periods.
