Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical team on a travel contract basis. The role is night shift focused and requires working 3x12-hour shifts with floating between units as needed. Nurses will provide high-quality patient care maintain documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit (1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio)
Float between units as needed
Work weekends (6 shifts over a 6-week period)
Administer medications monitor patient status and respond to patient needs
Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR (Epic Hardstop required)
Collaborate with physicians nurses and support staff to ensure optimal care
Follow hospital policies procedures and safety protocols
Ability to work night shifts and float between units
Strong clinical judgment communication and organizational skills
Capable of handling 48-hour work approval as needed
