Job Title: Registered Nurse Infusion (Ambulatory)
Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (5x8-Hour 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in infusion therapy and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapies and medications safely and accurately
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor responses to treatment
- Provide patient education regarding infusion procedures and aftercare
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Deliver patient-centered care with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Active New York State RN License
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years)
- Infusion experience required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent outpatient and oncology experience
- Experience working in large hospital or trauma center settings
