Job Summary:
The STEPS Family Advocate Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of the STEPS prevention program and all personnel assigned to that department. The supervisor is responsible for providing training guidance and management activities on all activities related to the STEPS prevention program.
Essential Duties:
Provide training guidance support and supervision to STEPS Family Advocates
Participate in the selection hiring and evaluation of staff
Monitors caseloads schedules training requirements and individual staffing assignments
Reviews work of staff to ensure safety compliance confidentiality timelessness appropriateness and completeness of services
Completes reports admissions forms and closure forms and reviews audit case files
Observes and reports client change in status to program director
Assists prevention specialist in identifying and coordinating available services for families and providing conflict resolution and crisis intervention services to families
Other Duties As needed
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in social services required.
Experience:
At least two years of child welfare experience with supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure Certification and/or Registration:
Valid drivers license.
