Senior Director Leader Integrated Business Planning and Order Management

SUMMARY:

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on creating and implementing operational plans that help the organization achieve its sales and service goals while ensuring responsible inventory management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate a strong process that encourages data-driven decision-making. Provide guidance and strategic direction to minimize business risks while maintaining flexibility to take advantage of future opportunities.
• Pursue ongoing process improvements by challenging current methods suggesting impactful solutions and driving change.
• Consistently monitor business operations to identify potential issues and opportunities.
• Prepare and present planning information to executive teams and recommend actions to support the companys financial objectives.
• Strengthen connections among Planning Sales and Finance Teams to ensure inventory procurement aligns with revenue targets.
• Provide direct leadership to teams responsible for Demand Planning Supply Chain Planning Capacity Planning Product Creation Order Processing and Inventory Management.
• Oversee the S&OP process cycle ensuring all stakeholders adhere to the defined inputs and outputs.
• Establish rules and guidelines for inventory management including in-season inventory and WIP inventory with sourced suppliers.
• Assist in designing and optimizing interdependent processes in Demand Planning and Inventory Management to achieve operational excellence.
• Oversee monthly quarterly and yearly forecasting reviews adjust forecasts based on performance and provide recommendations for lifecycle management and exit strategies.
• Develop and implement supply chain processes and strategies to optimize inventory movement improve flow and turns and reduce costs.
• Partner in developing and maintaining risk assessment models to determine buy levels and support profitability.
• Supervise demand planning for core fashion apparel and performance products maintaining product inventory to support sales and brand strategies.
• Maintain corporate service levels while balancing margin goals inventory goals inventory levels and manufacturing capacities.
• Drive timely business communications to keep Sales Brand and Finance teams informed about demand supply and inventory positions.
• Collaborate with the AI team and promote AI adoption within Planning and Order Management processes.
• Work closely with Supply Chain Finance Brand and Sales teams to align supply chain activities minimize inventory reduce lead times and support new initiatives.
• Follow company policies including attendance and punctuality.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with co-workers management and others.
• Comply with all regulations policies work procedures and instructions including confidentiality requirements.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree with 8-10 years of experience in the field or related area
• Strong analytical skills understanding of supply chain and inventory management and familiarity with the sock/textile/consumer products industry
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and inventory optimization strategies a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Excel and mainframe systems
