Amazons Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) Forecasting and Labs organization builds scalable systems that predict customer demand for every product offering anywhere in the world. These predictions drive automated decisions about what inventory to buy and where to put it all in an effort to ensure that Amazons customers can buy the things they want as quickly as possible.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead complex strategic technical programs spanning multiple teams and involving engineers scientists and product managers
- Partner with Directors Senior Managers and Principal Engineers to define program vision technical roadmaps and success metrics
- Drive alignment and consensus across engineering product operations and business stakeholders with competing priorities
- Navigate ambiguity to define clear program scope milestones and execution strategies
- Identify and mitigate risks across complex technical landscapes involving multiple systems and dependencies
- Establish program management best practices processes and mechanisms that improve team effectiveness
- Influence technical architecture and design decisions to ensure scalability reliability and operational excellence
- Drive operational excellence initiatives that improve delivery velocity quality and customer experience
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders across multiple organizations
- Mentor Senior TPMs and TPMs raising the technical and leadership bar
- Make high-judgment trade-off decisions balancing speed quality cost and customer impact
- Establish mechanisms for tracking progress identifying bottlenecks and driving accountability
- Lead incident response and recovery efforts for high-severity technical issues
- Drive innovation in program management methodologies and tools
- Present program status risks and recommendations to senior leadership
- Own end-to-end delivery of multi-quarter programs with significant business impact

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules

- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company Amazons package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location. Amazon offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical dental vision prescription basic life & AD&D insurance) Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP) paid time off and other resources to improve health and well-being.
