Hotel Property Accounting Clerk

The Surfsand Resort is seeking a detail-oriented Hotel Property Accounting Clerk in a dual role to support the day-to-day financial operations of our oceanfront property with approximately one day per week at our sister property the Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa in Astoria.

The Surfsand Resort is a relaxed oceanfront property known for its direct beach access and views of Haystack Rock offering a warm family-friendly coastal experience while the Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa delivers a more upscale boutique stay set on a historic pier over the Columbia River blending luxury amenities with rich maritime character.

This full-time role is ideal for someone with hotel or hospitality experience who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly and accurately. A valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required.

This position reports to the Hotel General Manager and Corporate Office and plays a key role in revenue tracking payroll support and financial reporting.

What Youll Do

• Perform daily reconciliation of hotel revenue and payments

• Process and reconcile accounts payable invoices

• Compile and submit payroll information including tips and gratuities

• Prepare weekly and month-end financial reports

• Participate in and help oversee monthly food & beverage inventories

• Manage accounts receivable including tracking and follow-up

What Were Looking For

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable working with numbers reports and spreadsheets

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience with hotel systems (ProfitSage Acumatica) is a plus
