Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care in a long-term care nursing facility in Omaha Nebraska. The LPN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care medication administration and supporting residents with chronic and long-term health conditions during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications safely and accurately during assigned shifts
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising RN or physician
Provide care for residents in a long-term care setting including geriatric and pulmonary patients
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene mobility and feeding
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
Follow infection control protocols and facility safety standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Respond to patient needs and ensure overnight patient safety
Required Qualifications
Active LPN License (Nebraska or Compact License)
Minimum experience in long-term care preferred
Ability to work night shifts consistently
Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
BLS Certification preferred or required per facility standards
