- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift Type: Night Shift (Variable)
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
- Shift Hours: 12-hour nights (variable start times)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours (guaranteed 36/48 hours as per facility need)
- Housing: Provided by Prime Time Healthcare
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care in a long-term care nursing facility in Omaha Nebraska. The LPN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care medication administration and supporting residents with chronic and long-term health conditions during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications safely and accurately during assigned shifts
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising RN or physician
- Provide care for residents in a long-term care setting including geriatric and pulmonary patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene mobility and feeding
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow infection control protocols and facility safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond to patient needs and ensure overnight patient safety
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN License (Nebraska or Compact License)
- Minimum experience in long-term care preferred
- Ability to work night shifts consistently
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- BLS Certification preferred or required per facility standards
