Assistant Director of Nursing

Springs Village Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team in Colorado Springs CO. This role is vital in supporting the Director of Nursing and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to fostering a supportive and efficient care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations to ensure quality patient care.
• Supervise and support nursing staff including scheduling training and performance evaluations.
• Maintain compliance with all federal state and local regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in budgeting staffing and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Address and resolve patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment for all staff members.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in nursing preferably in a long-term care or similar setting.
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising nursing staff.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations and standards of care.
• Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
