Job Summary
Overview
Lead the full life cycle of maintenance and installation for production assets material handling equipment building systems and facility/groundswith ownership of the preventive maintenance program across the plant.
Scope of Operations
- Offset converting: sevencolor offset press with integrated cutting and scoring.
- Flexographic converting: six flexo printing presses.
- Sealing: seven flame sealers supported by computerized robotic palletizing.
Your Impact
- Asset stewardship
- Direct the maintenance program for three production departments including the preventive maintenance schedule and knife room activities.
- Ensure all repairs modifications and installations of inhouse production and associated equipment are executed safely and efficiently.
- Production partnership
- Provide handson support to production departments and collaborate closely with supervisory teams.
- Supply and storeroom control
- Supervise and assist with parts procurement and other purchasing; guide storeroom processes and personnel.
- Quality and compliance
- Administer and ensure adherence to the SQF Code across maintenance practices.
- People leadership
- Manage a team of 20 maintenance and storeroom clerks; coordinate training for yourself and your direct reports.
- Capital and contractors
- Contribute to capital planning and budgets identify new equipment and lead bidding and contracting for projects with outside contractors.
- Own yearly service agreements and vendor relationships.
- Facilities systems
- Oversee building systems security and fire protection material handling assets and the computerized telephone system.
