Were looking for a passionate skilled Medical Assistant to support patients of all ages at our Convenience Care office in Portland IN. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality care and truly change lives.

This position is full time working 30 hours weekly with a weekend rotation. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 12noon-8p Saturday & Sunday 8am-2pm. Some travel up to 10% may be needed for training and coverage at other locations.

What Youll Do as a Medical Assistant

• Guide patients through their visit and prepare them for provider assessments
• Take vitals prepare exam rooms sterilize instruments and maintain supplies
• Support providers with exams minor procedures and patient documentation
• Perform phone triage manage labs and records and follow infection-control protocols
• Conduct screenings (PHQ-9 Edinburgh GAD-7) and assist with telehealth
• Prepare medications maintain certifications and protect patient confidentiality
• Complete daily/weekly tasks attend meetings and uphold OSHA/CLIA standards

What You Bring as a Medical Assistant

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• High school diploma or equivalency required; Associates degree preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred (CMA NCMA CCMA or RMA)
• 612 months of clinical experience preferred
