Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Towers to lead the endtoend delivery of transmission tower works on a major infrastructure project. This role has full accountability for planning procurement construction safety cost schedule and stakeholder coordination across geographically dispersed sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of all transmission tower works in line with the approved program and budget
- Manage scope schedule cost and risk across tower foundations steel fabrication logistics and erection activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Builder PSDR project approvals contractual obligations and construction methodologies
- Provide leadership to project engineers supervisors and subcontractors delivering tower works.
- Oversee integration between engineering procurement logistics and construction to ensure efficient delivery.
- Drive a strong safety culture ensuring tower works are executed safely and in accordance with approved designs and standards.
- Monitor progress manage risks and issues and provide accurate performance reporting through to completion and handover
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary qualification in civil structural or construction engineering (or related discipline).
- Proven experience managing transmission towers or similar heavy construction works on major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of tower foundations steel fabrication erection methodologies and logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of project governance risk management and delivery within safetycritical or regulated environments.
Location and conditions
This is a regional role and includes the provision to be based at camp as required.
